The Masters Program in Management and Environmental Studies (PMGEA) is the result of the activities of extension, teaching, and research in the area of Environmental Chemistry of the School of Chemistry at the National University, Costa Rica. The PMGEA was created to satisfy the professional demand in topics of high relevance for the region, for example: solid waste management, wastewater treatment, and minimization of air-soil-water pollution with a great emphasis on ecosystem health and services.
The PMGEA has successfully contributed with 10 cohorts (including national and international students) to a wide range of governmental institutions, environmental agencies, research centers, universities, among others, professionals who have contributed to solve problems, with efficient, innovative, transferable, and definitive solutions.
